The general purpose of the Club is to encourage and plan trips, events, and social activities for members of the Emerald Coast Corvette Club; to organize and manage events and exhibitions for Corvette owners; and, to encourage safe and skillful driving on public roads. Charitable support is an accompanying purpose of the club.

To be eligible for membership you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Own a Corvette, with current registration and proper liability insurance.  
  2.  Be a minimum of 18 years of age.    
  3.  Fill out a membership application, available on the club's website or at a monthly membership meeting. 
  4.  Participate in two ECCC recognized functions in your Corvette, and one monthly membership meeting. A recognized function is a scheduled event (organized by ECCC, an accredited car club, or any organization) in which ECCC members in Corvettes, from at least two households, are present. Events shall include, but not be limited to: club cruises, cruise-ins, car shows, show and shines, and local parades. Former members are exempt from this requirement.    
  5.  Be voted in at a monthly membership meeting after fulfilling the above requirements. Prospective new member(s) must be present at the monthly membership meeting to be voted in. Former members are exempt from being present. 
  6.  After being accepted for membership, you must pay an annual family membership fee of $50 (pro-rated to $25 if joining after 1 July).
These requirements have been put in place to ensure you are comfortable with joining this club.  After a couple of outings with us, we are confident that you’ll want to join; but we want you to know what we’re all about first, and these requirements will afford you the opportunity without feeling pressured.
